The Grassy Mountain Gold Project (Grassy) is a proposed underground gold mine located in the high desert of Malheur County, approximately 22 miles south of Vale and 70 miles west of Boise, Idaho. Led by Paramount Gold Nevada, the project is expected to become Oregon’s first modern gold mining operation.
The project’s above ground footprint sits within a fraction of the 8,200-acre land package wholly owned by Paramount. With a high-grade underground deposit, defined infrastructure plans, and key federal approvals already secured, Grassy is currently in the final stages of state permitting, positioning the project for responsible, long-term gold production.
